Only take these supplements under the care of a doctor. You must eat carbohydrates, if you wish to build muscle. Carbohydrates not only fuel your body, but they are necessary to increase muscle tone. If your training is extensive, you may need to increase your daily consumption of carbs to 2-3 grams for every pound you weigh. Create the illusion that your body is larger than it is. Focus on targeting the muscles on your upper chest and back, as well as your shoulders. Bulking up this way makes your waist look smaller, and it can make you look larger overall. It is a common error to drastically raise protein intake immediately upon starting muscle building programs.
