Meet the C:F team: Zhikica Pagovski

by C:F Team on 21st September, 2010 at 1:11 PM CEST

Challenge:Future is excited to introduce our newest team member: Zhikica Pagovski!

Zhikica is a passionate youth from American University in Bulgaria, one of the ten schools on the C:F Most Innovative School Hall of Fame . He was a finalist in Team Properity Builders in the 2009/10 Challenge:Future Competition. During the C:F Summit, he wow-ed us with his insightful speeches as well as ambitious plans for the future of C:F. We couldn't be happier when Zhikica decided to join the team. Let's hear it from Zhikica:

Zhikica, you have been travelling a lot and meeting many inspiring global youths around the world this summer. Tell us about 3 qualities of these global youths that inspired you and how would be using them in your C:F work?

Yes, it was extremely busy, but exciting summer for me traveling around and exposing to different cultures and lifestyles. After my exchange program in USA, I went straight to Slovenia for the C:F Summit. Afterward, I have been to Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Egypt. I tried to calculate how many people I personally met and established relations, but it was difficult. However, I had an increase of my facebook friends for around 300 for just one summer-if it means something. All these people that I met inspired me because most of them were multitasking, dedicated to their goals, and enthusiastic for better future of themselves and the people around them. The experience gained from all these people’s qualities will help me to better understand the values of youth, their behavior and expectations, and this way I will be more successful by working for C:F team.

You were a finalist in the main competition. Tell us what you learn from the other finalists and how would you be inspiring the next generation of C:F competition participants.

The C:F competition was more than a simple competition. It was a passion, an inspiration, and an emotion. It was a competition without losers because every solution presented on the competition was a winning for the world where we live. The C:F competition was a great deal to learn that there are still many people that are concerned in what future their children are going to live.

What is your personal motto that inspires you every day of your life?

Maybe we live once, but if we live wise, once is enough.
