Now we know! 2011 is the year of

by C:F Team on 7th January, 2011 at 5:29 PM CEST

How will 2011 look like? In the past quick challenge “2011 is the year of…” we asked you to tell us how will this new year be, what challenges will it bring and which is going to be the main focus. We had the great pleasure of seeing your ideas and predictions. All your entries were full of optimism, faith, confidence and you envisioned a better future for the world. Thank you for giving everyone hope for the upcoming year.

Before announcing the winner of the “2011 is the year of…” quick challenge, let’s meet the Judges: Nadya Zhexembayeva, Denis Povh, Sayanee Basu, Tanja Mozetic and Dan Croitoru. They were impressed by all your submissions and really had a hard time choosing the winner.

Congratulations to all of you, especially to the five entries that gained the most votes: Krste Kostoski with Hope, Mile Tasevski with Progress, Jatin Kataria with Courage, Pranay Singh with Thinkovation and Galya Korukhchyan with Tranquility

And the winner is: Galya with Tranquility!

“because it demonstrates that in the world of high speed living, constant batteling for survivor, life pass by without even living it. This world emphasis that it is necessary to stop, respect and enjoy the traquility.”

“his explanation on freedom and harmony strikes a chord with the current heavily globalized world.”

Congratulations Galya for bringing tranquility into our lives and for receiving community’s support and judges’ votes. We hope we’ll see more of you in future challenges.

Other nominations go to Jatin with his idea Courage: “If u have a good idea or something smart to say that’s not enough. You really need courage to speak loud about your idea. You need courage to take some action. That’s why I think this is the best solution.” And Krste with Hope: “If we don’t have hope, we don’t have anything. We need to believe in ourselves and in our goal and that is why I think Krste’s choice is the winner”.

As you might have already seen it, all your ideas put together helped create the C:F Greeting Card! And here it is!

Congrats Galya for winning this QC! Your entry and comment were very good. I have to point out that all of the participants in this QC had amazing posts and explanations. I think it would have been more appropriate to give at least 10-15 awards. I was pleasantly surprised of the quality of your posts. Looking forward to seeing your next great ideas!

Congratulations Galya! Way to go! i like your explanation about tranquility. and at some point, all of us need to stop and think about our lives. where are we and are we living the life as we wanted? if the answer satisfies ourselves there's no problem, but if it's not, we should start to innovate and find solutions for better life. thanks for your comment!
