C:F Paper Plane lands in...

by C:F Team on 14th May, 2011 at 3:16 AM CEST

The C:F Paper Plan has indeed reached all of us! Each of the wonderful 32 entries marked the diversity, fun and innovative spirit of the C:F Community! And now guess who’s the winner!

Let’s meet the Judges first who have willingly come forward to judge so many creative ideas! They are Dan, Ivan and Ekin! The judges had a hard time deciding and in total we had to give 2 C:F members the prize for one Future Book each for winning the judge’s hearts! Both the winners had a tie among all the 3 judges!

*Drums Roll* The 2 winners are...

Alexander Neupokoev with the entry on Nano-Paper Plane. Congrats! You have won a Future Book!

What do the judges say?  One judge had the comment "Extraordinary and creative solution. I think technologists should take into consideration these nanoplanes." While another judge said, "His picture is amazing. It shows how a the whole is greater then the sum of parts, the title resonates with the pic. It’s innovation, creativity and hard work put together. Definitely one of the best submissions."

and Stefan Spirkovski with the entry on CF Fun - Raptor. Congrats! you have also won a Future Book!

What do the judges say? "It’s the kind of picture that simply makes you want to have a plane like that. It looks as real as it gets and it clearly shows a lot of effort, great imagination and amazing crafting skills." says one of the judges. While another judge adds "Stefan's plane explains everything about CF; innovation, new thinking possibilities and great opportunities. It also differs from other classical planes, it contains hard-work."

Thank you very much to all and to be honest I didn't expected anything in return, but I am very pleased that you liked my plane.

Also a HUGE thank you for all the others participants and supporters who made this challenge fun :) . Without strong competition there is no challenge, but thanks to you we achieved the goal.
