Hello C:F chapters and C:F fans over the globe,

Want to know what is happening in Ghana, Africa? Bringing an energetic spirit and high zest, this is the chapter which experienced a lot of progress in the past period! Having already a youth council and library, Ghana chapter is growing more and more each single day!

Therefore, what are the brand new and hot stuffs in Ghana chapter?

“For some time now, we have been training the youth on entrepreneurship. As entrepreneurs they will need many skills and finance. C: F Ghana chapter is not able to provide finance but is  able to provide the members with skills and training which will help them get funding.  After they manage with their funds, we will be their consultants and help them start up and manage what they want to do. Because of the above information, we have formulated a project. Regarding our youth council, it is made of young people who want to help other young people to make better choices in life! They are here to advise their peers about their social and educational life in general,” says our very own Jeremiah from C:F Ghana Chapter.

Under this project, C:F Ghana Chapter is working on a partnership with an I.T institutions to provide computer training and some professional courses for free. The tuition will be for free but they will pay for registration of courses. The youth can apply for more than one course which makes a great opportunity for all of them.

“Until now we have spoken with ‘IKE’S COMPU-TEK TRAINING INSTITUTE’ and their response was good. They are located in Koforidua, Ghana. We suggested that after the trainings, the participants get their certificate. The institute will charge for only examination and certification.

As well, we planned to partner with an online school but we could form a group in their school and obtain certificates which will bear their name and C:F Ghana Chapter’s one.

Recently, we also worked hard to form a partnership with the “National Youth Employment Program” to educate and train young people on entrepreneurship, vocational and IT skills. Arrangements with the NYEP are expected to happen soon!”

Additionally, our center is completed but there are some works to be done. We still need Furniture, Computer and printer, plus internet services,” adds up Jeremiah.

A lot of new updates and openings coming up from C:F Chapter Ghana! Feelings of excitement, adventure, learning experience and change all mingled together. We are all curious to see follow-up information about your activities Ghana Chapter!
