Find out TOP 3 Best Local Events for the 100$ Challenge!

by C:F Team on 21st May, 2015 at 11:34 AM CEST

The 100$ challenge has so far brought amazing ideas on board. What we can do individually for our communities with 100$ only actually looks amazing. Myriad of good ideas, and to close the first round of the challenge, the team of judges have picked two runner ups and one big winner! Nevertheless, you can still submit your ideas for one more month, until the 21st June, 2015 and win on the second roll!

Kudos and hugs to third-placed CLARISSA OLIVIA SUSANTO from INDONESIA with her idea “National Cultural Festival” who has written:

“Indonesia has thousands of beautiful cultures. However, young generation are not aware of traditional cultures because of modernization era. By inviting thousands of national cultural communities, cultural lovers, media/reporters, youths, Government institutes and providing public place as the festival location, Voila! A national cultural festival which is fun and accessible for youths. Indonesia cultural communities can be united and promote each others' beautiful cultures. Cheap and impactful!”

A round of applause for NUBI KAY’ from NIGERIA who takes the second place with his idea iREP Photo Exhibition:

"With $100 I'd curate and put together a photo exhibition with the theme iREP. It's short form for 'I Represent' and it's all about including various section of society promoting equality - gender, religious, cultural, etc. The fund will be mostly for marketing and logistics while other cost will be covered by partners and sponsors."

Congratulations and big round of applause to VIKTORIJA SPENDJARSKA from MACEDONIA who takes the first place in the first round with “Vertical idea”:

“Ask for permission to use the hall of the city business incubator to organize series of lectures on sustainable environment, importance of recycling and self development for high school students and local farmers. The lectures will be lead by Raul Bravo, who currently studies for master in Mechanical Design in Germany which biggest interests are sustainability, organic gardening and ecology. The final event would be building a vertical garden from recycled materials in the city center.”

The TOP 3 competitors were all communicated by C:F Team to develop an action plan and timeline of how they will implement their idea, but only one is awarded the 100$. We really believe that with the 100$ won Viktorija will make meaningful local impact for her local community. All other ideas that have not been selected among TOP 3 for the challenge will remain competing with all newly submitted ideas until the final deadline of round 2 on 21st June. We also highly encourage you that you communicate runner ups or winner and partner and support them on development or implementation of their ideas.

Submit YOUR idea for 100$ worth best local event HERE until 21st June!

Stay tuned!
