C:F IMPACT: Future Book 2: Vision 2050

by C:F Team on 29th June, 2015 at 2:06 PM CEST

Earlier in June, C:F Team has announced the launch of C:F IMPACT program. You can read more about this program HERE and have insight in the first directorship within the program HERE

Today, we proceed with a new announcement! We are happy to have on board Nubi Kay' from Nigeria who will launch a new project and this will make in the same time a huge challenge for the Challenge:Future family, and that is the creation of the second edition of the "Future Book". The second edition is to be entitled "The Future Book 2: Vision 2050". Whilst you can still check the "Future Book" here, let us give a warm welcome and big HUGS to Nubi who will act as the director for this project within the C:F IMPACT Program. Here are his first words in regards to his directorship, for the Challenge:Future community:

The time has come for another Future Book to be written and I am super excited to have been given this opportunity to direct the process. As said by Matevž Kme one of the editors of the maiden edition of The Future Book, in a world where technology and innovation has increased an appetite for short content like blog posts and tweets,  a book is a frozen memory of a moment in time. It holds our thoughts, plans, ideas, and fears from a time that has passed and helps us remember how things once were.

Unlike the maiden edition, we are going to have the new Future Book in one form - digital. With sustainability at the core of what C:F stands for, it is only logical to make this move. With the theme Vision 2050, the Future Book will look at the journey so far, the current situation of things in our world, and our dreams for the future.

Another feature at the core of Challenge:Future is community and that is going to reflect in how we approach authorship of the Future Book. We’d be having Quick Challenges, C:F Action Team, community editorial contributions, not forgetting our ever supportive C:F Alumni; so be prepared to reflect, challenge yourself, and dream big for our future.

Personally I cannot wait to get started and again very grateful for this opportunity to serve as Director of the C:F Future Book. Please do not hesitate to hit me up with ideas, questions, thoughts, and feedback and lastly most honestly welcome you to join me on this journey as we chart the course of our very own future.

Our Vision. 2050.

Yours Truly,
Nubi Kay’
Director of C:F Future Book 2015/16
